In the era of the great designers of the 1930s, from Eileen Gray to André Arbus, the golden age of the Decorative Arts, Noël, under the leadership of Jeanne Noël, created some of its finest embroidery designs for household linen, reflecting the creativity and exceptional art of living of the period. They are the true icons of Noël.
Established in 1883 by Madame Noël, the eponymous company rst specialised in antique lace. In 1910, her son Edouard-Louis Noël then made embroidery the company’s trademark. In collaboration with his wife, Jeanne Boulet, he developed what would become the “Noël style.”
